We conducted an employee engagement survey to better understand employee perspectives and identify opportunities to enhance the workplace experience. The feedback gathered helps guide decisions aimed at strengthening employee engagement, improving communication, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.<\/p>

One key insight from the survey highlighted the importance of strengthening connections between employees and leadership. In response, new communication initiatives were introduced, and existing channels were enhanced to promote greater transparency, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Celebrating Local Culture with Heritage Days<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The PriceSmart family spans many countries and cultures, each with their own customs and celebrations. Learning about different countries\u2019 unique historical backgrounds enriches the diversity of our organization, and our shared appreciation of one another creates a sense of unity.\u00a0<\/p>

To foster a sense of community and interconnectedness, in FY2023 we began formally recognizing \u201cHeritage Days\u201d throughout the organization to celebrate national holidays and other culturally important dates. In FY2024 we observed more than 50 Heritage Days by sending company-wide communications about the significance of each event and encouraging employees to organize related activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
