Employees report that they find volunteering highly fulfilling and value the opportunities PriceSmart provides to give back to their communities.<\/p><p>Many PriceSmart employees also volunteer with the PriceSmart Foundation, underscoring the importance of the close, mutually reinforcing relationship between the two entities. This creates a virtuous cycle in which engaged, satisfied employees are better positioned to perform at their best.<\/p><p>A significant undertaking has been the refresh of our materiality analysis, a process that helped us more clearly identify the topics most important to our stakeholders. This ensures that PriceSmart\u2019s sustainability initiatives remain focused, relevant, and efficient.<\/p><p>We have also come to appreciate that sustainability reporting itself is helping make us a better company. The process of gathering data and ensuring its integrity has enabled us to identify gaps, uncover opportunities for improvement, and improve the efficiency of data collection.<\/p><p>We will continue to expand our communication efforts to further integrate sustainability across the organization and raise awareness internally and externally.
